Foundation Stone Laid for New Sakhi Centre in Bheemili

Joint Collector G. Vidyadhari laid the foundation stone for a new Mission Shakti-One Stop Centre (Sakhi) at the Community Health Centre in Bheemunipatnam. This facility is one of 11 centres sanctioned across the state to provide comprehensive support to women and girls facing violence, harassment, and domestic abuse.

The centre will serve as a centralized hub offering medical assistance, police protection, free legal aid, psychological counselling, and temporary shelter. Officials encouraged women in emergency situations to utilize the 181 women’s helpline and 112 emergency services to access these new support resources in the Bheemili region.
