Peterborough United Appoint Robbie Savage as Manager

Peterborough United have appointed former Forest Green Rovers boss Robbie Savage as their new manager on a long-term contract. The 51-year-old replaces Luke Williams, who was sacked on September 19 with the club sitting 23rd in League One.

Savage, who previously managed Macclesfield, will be assisted by caretaker boss Ryan Harley. He aims to implement an attacking philosophy at the Weston Homes Stadium. His first match in charge will be against Ipswich Town Under-21s in the Jersey Mike's Trophy on October 6.
