Akhilesh Yadav Calls for Unity in Rajya Sabha Elections

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has described the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections as a "time for coming together," signaling a potential reconciliation with former party members. The SP has already nominated Ram Gopal Yadav and Reliance executive Dhanraj Parimal Nathwani for the polls.

Party leaders indicate the SP may field a third candidate, raising the possibility of a contest and cross-voting. Currently, the BJP-led alliance is positioned to win seven of the 10 available seats in Uttar Pradesh, while the SP, supported by Congress, is projected to secure two.
