Shahid Afridi Faces Son-in-Law Shaheen Shah Afridi in Nets

A viral video shows former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi batting against his son-in-law, current ODI captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, during a practice session. The clip captures the two cricketers, connected by Shaheen's 2023 marriage to Shahid's daughter Ansha, sharing a rare moment in the nets.

The session occurred as Shaheen focuses on red-ball cricket and his ODI leadership duties following his exclusion from Pakistan's recent T20I squad for the home series against Sri Lanka. Shaheen, the 2021 ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year, was dropped alongside Babar Azam after the 2026 T20 World Cup.
