Apple announces fourth-generation Apple TV 4K with Siri AI and far-field mics

Apple unveiled the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K at its "Welcome Home" event in New York City. The device features integrated far-field microphones for hands-free Siri AI interaction and introduces Find My functionality within the remote. Additionally, it supports a new home theatre mode, allowing users to pair up to four second-generation HomePods or HomePod Mini 2s for surround sound.

The new model is priced at $299, significantly higher than previous iterations. This launch results in the discontinuation of the current top-of-the-line Apple TV 4K model.
