India and Uzbekistan review bilateral ties in Baku meeting

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met with his Uzbek counterpart, Bakhtiyor Saidov, in Baku on Friday to discuss key bilateral issues. The ministers emphasized the urgent need to implement agreements reached at the highest level, building on a year of frequent high-level exchanges between the two nations.

This meeting follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s August visit to Uzbekistan, where he received the nation’s highest foreign honour, the Oliy Darajali Do'stlik Order.
