Sub-Inspector and Student Killed in Separate Road Accidents

Two separate road accidents in Tiruvannamalai and Ranipet districts resulted in the deaths of a police sub-inspector and a school student on Tuesday. R. Parthiban, 50, died after an unidentified vehicle struck his motorcycle while he was returning from temple security duty near Vandavasi.

In Ranipet, 15-year-old R. Monish was killed when a van hit the two-wheeler he was riding with his sister near Walajah town. Monish died at a government hospital in Sholinghur following the collision. Police have launched investigations into both fatal incidents.
