Nakhrewaalii film reimagines 1956 Kishore Kumar classic

The upcoming ‘Womantic’ comedy Nakhrewaalii will feature a new version of the 1956 Kishore Kumar classic title track from the film New Delhi. Producer Aanand L Rai selected the song for its warmth and charm, noting its timeless appeal for modern audiences.

The reimagined track blends the original Shankar-Jaikishan composition with contemporary vocals by Priyankit Jaiswal and new lyrics by Vayu. Directed by Rahul Shanklya and starring Ansh Duggal and Pragati Srivastava, the film is produced by Jio Studios and Colour Yellow Productions. Nakhrewaalii is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 30, 2026.

Editor's note: Accurate summary of the music production and film details. Minor omission: the role of Vaibhav Pani is excluded, but this does not compromise the core brief.
