Dhirendra Shastri Faces Backlash Over Religious Remarks

Spiritual preacher Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is facing controversy following alleged remarks comparing Lord Ram and Lord Krishna during a religious discourse in Madhya Pradesh. The Yadav community has petitioned the Gwalior police to register an FIR, claiming the comments hurt religious sentiments and threaten social harmony.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav condemned the statements, specifically citing a video involving remarks about Lord Ram’s father, and demanded the cancellation of all related programs. Shastri has responded by stating his comments were misinterpreted and made while expressing emotional devotion to the deities.
